In “A Night in Mexico” Dominic creates a playful, colorful scene of a womanly character sitting by the pool. The different surfaces are stencil and fluoresce like. Their bright colors powerful clash with the deep blue night. The alienated character is created of different symbols and sources of inspiration, for example the unmistakable Egyptian eye. These symbols break the modern elements like drinking at the outdoor pool in a very elegant way.
